The Ks Have Made Their Move

or "Isn't the Fridge Supposed to Fit There?"

We have been in our new house for over a week, so it is about time to share some fab tales of our moving adventure. Well, not adventure so much. In fact, everything went fairly smoothly. Except that our fridge didn't fit in the fridge hole (fridge hole is a technical term...)*

We had both of our families out to help us move, plus a cousin-in-law. We used my dad's truck and borrowed a trailer from someone at church. But our most valuable tool was this:

That's right, the Forearm Forklift. Wow. Let's just take a closer look at that picture.

Wow. If sulky teenagers can lift large appliances with the Forearm Forklift, then we'll be laughing. (and we were, when we read the very poorly translated instructions on the package...)

When we arrived at our new house we discovered that the previous owners had left us a surprise.

The biggest deep freeze ever. At first we were kinda mad. We don't need another deep freeze. But again, a closer look made us change our minds...

Now we have it. The Key to Better Living is ours! Bwa ha ha!

Seriously though, we love our new house. It is just right. Even Baby is starting to feel at home here. Also we have the added bonus of no revving neighbours. Hurah!

*Our too big fridge is currently residing in the basement (you can see it next to the deep freeze). The good news is, we hated that fridge anyway and now have a good excuse to buy a new one. Which we did. and are now awaiting delivery.

Great post!
That freezer is stinking huge!
Enjoy your new fridge!

Oh, did the forearm forklift at least work?

Who needs a fridge anyway? You can just eat all of your food VERY quickly.
I'm glad your house is a perfect fit, at least.
