Yup, a blizzard. This evening. When we are supposed to be going on our first post-birth date. The plan is to head to town for a late movie, after baby is in bed. We have a babysitter lined up and everything (an adult one. with three kids of her own. you don't think we'd leave him with a teenager do you?!) So we will wait and see if Environment Canada knows what they're talking about. I have to admit, I am feeling a tad apprehensive about the whole thing, so perhaps a blizzard isn't a bad thing. It's not like I haven't left baby before. I went to a La Leche League meeting last month while daddy stayed home (baby was in bed by then too). I will eventually be able to do it with glee I'm sure.
As the sub-title of my blog says, I need to keep you up-to-date with non-happenings. Well, nothing is more
non-happening than interest in our house. It has been on the market for a week and a half and we haven't heard a peep of interest. Now, I know we are not in Calgary (or even Winnipeg for that matter) but it is a cool house, surely someone would jump at the chance to buy it. We are trying our best to not get impatient, but you know how it is.I will let you know if we make it to the movie tonight. We are planning to see "Music and Lyrics". It is actually a late Valentine's Date.
