hmmmm...
Ah.
Sunshine.
Warmth.
Spring.
The high today is 15 degrees and tomorrow it's 20. Methinks spring, "the beautiful, capricious, reluctant, Canadian spring", with all its dilly-dallying, is finally here. Hooray!
I have been reading the Anne of Green Gables books again. I haven't read them for years. I think I can understand Anne better now than I could when I first read them. She is really a lovely girl. It makes me happy to read her adventures (and makes me want to travel to the East Coast...). I also have to wonder where all the beautiful names have gone. Ruby. Jane. Prillie. (There you go, Bren, just read the Anne books and you are sure to find a name.)
I hope all of you who have been plagued by a winter that just hangs on will be blessed with this warmth very, very soon.

Hmmm, I haven't read Ann in years either, though I still have all the books somewhere. Maybe I should give them another read?
I see from your profile that you are the mom of the cutest boy ever - and that's funny 'cause I totally thought *I* was! Maybe because you're in Canada and I'm in the US? :)
Thanks for visiting and commenting. I love Over the Rhine too...
Oohh...well if you're visiting the East Coast any time in the next 19 months (keeping in mind that your window of opportunity to visit during the warmer times of the year might only yield you two potential days), remember you've always got a place to stay!
Here's hoping the next storm (tonight/tomorrow) will be our last for the season....
I predict the we will soon see names like Ruby, Violet and Lily again.

I haven't read the Anne books in years either. But I'm waiting for my daughters to get a little older so we can read them together. Right now we're thoroughly enchanted with Ballet Shoes.
I heart little girl books.
