Seriously, don't.

One of the reasons I love Spring is that you sometimes discover little treasures that have been hidden under the snow for months. Like this...

We found this the other day on the little makeshift bridge over our ditch. (Yes, we live in the sticks. Our town has drainage ditches instead of storm sewers.) It made me smile. And I will now always remember that Texas is not to be messed with.

(ps. We know several very lovely people from Texas, with whom we would never have any need to mess.)

Well, that's better than what showed up in MY drainage ditches when all the snow melted (beer bottles; dog poop).

I think we still have a plastic bag or two clinging to the rose bushes on the East side of our house....

I've always wanted to know: "...or what??? What will happen if I mess with Texas? And how can one lone person mess with an entire state?"

Also, I wonder: did somebody plant that sticker there because they know about JK's stake for Vancouver in the hockey pool?
I think somebody's trying to intimidate you!

Ha! That's great. And I love your post title to go with it.
