Mama's got a new pair of Shoes

A couple of sucky (sucktastic?) things happened today. First of all, Baby had his six month shots today. Now, this is actually a good thing, seeing as I don't want him to get crazy diseases, but it still feels bad to inflict pain on purpose. Secondly, I broke a glass. I hate when that happens. But, this is also not entirely bad. As Husband pointed out, it is one less thing to pack and move.

But a couple of really good things happened today too. I went to pick up my Sears catalogue order. Yay. This is what I got.

Aren't they cute? And only $12 a pair. That's 6 bucks a shoe! You can't go wrong. I especially love the little slip-on ones. That's why I ordered two colours. Also, I discovered this growing in our "flower bed" this morning. (It's really more of an over-grown weed bed with a couple of bulb flowers fighting their way through.)

Oh, and Baby is enjoying the letter "B" these days. "Ba. Ba. Bfff."

Oh, and Ottawa beat Pittsburgh.

Good night.

Oh hooray for new shoes! (One of my favourite things....)
Congratulations on your floral discovery also.
My sympathies regarding the glass. I've already decided that we have six glasses that my Mom will NOT be allowed to touch when she comes to visit. We like them far too much...

Beck - so far so good. I have been for a couple of walks in the lace up ones, but nothing major yet in the slip ons. But they are nice and cushy.
